Of course, we can`t take all of your worrys away, but we will show you some tricks to make your houseboat holiday less dangerous for your children.

Even if you try, there always will be moments, in which you can`t observe your child. In that way, wearing a live-jacket ist the perfect safeguarding.It is like a child seat in a car. Not loved, but necessary. In our charter stations (Hafendorf Müritz, Priepert and Niderviller) we give you a life-jacket, which fits on the wight of your child.
It is recommented to check the fitting of the life-jackets before you start your trip - for children as well as for adults. Suit the vests directly at your body and remember the place you put her after that.

Furthermore, it is an advantage to make some rules to the behaviour at the boat. How exactly the rules look like is you own decision. In the collegue the following rules were effective:
- When children are on deck, they have to wear a lilfe-jacket and within sight of adults.
- At the harbour and when the engine is switched off it is not necessary to wear a life-jacket. (Precondition: The children can swim about five minutes and an adult is in visual range.
- On board running is not allowed. While climbing stairs the chikdren have to have one hand on the handrail.
- During lock, children stay on board.
- First leave the boat, when the engine is switched off.
- It is not allowed to play at/with the second operator`s stand, during the machine works.
